  Poor food.
  Thursday 13/1/2022 evening: The young girl at the front was amazing helped us with everything we needed answered all our questions we had regarding types of fish and snacks. Unfortunately that’s where the serviced ended we had received our family pack only to find there was more batter on the fish then fish, fish was dry, squid was very undercooked and the whole meal was greasy would not recommend to friends.

  I ordered the kids fish bites with fries. The fish was disgusting and smelled stink. Paid $8 for that. Very disappointed. Ended up binning the meal and drove to Dongara for a feed. Interior looks very tacky with random odd bits displayed, not a very inviting little shop. Sorry, guys but it's a big thumbs down from me.

  We were hesitant due to some of the reviews on here however we figured we would give it a shot. The shark was very good and the chips weren't bad. Touch on the expensive side but don't mind paying for quality.

  Food is good and reasonably priced for a tourist town.
  The snapper was real snapper which is great considering most around pass off shark as snapper.
  Eaten here many times over the years.

  The port store is a very good place for food, and if the fish did not reach your standards then you should get checked for insanity
